     Our Philosophy

Restaurant Saveur is a fulfillment of a long dream of both of us.  Formerly The Common House Restaurant, we were delighted to discover the opportunity to venture into our own restaurant.  Being highly passionate people, we decided to name our first venture after the necessary ability to savor life. This seemed to fit nicely as we brought the concept into play. 

 We are blessed to have a highly dedicated staff many of which are family that pour themselves into the cause and add to the overall quality of the business. Many of the staff are also united through the common interest of kiteboarding. Baileys Harbor is home to one of the nicest beaches to ride from in all of Wisconsin.

        Our Background

Loreto, born in Santiago, Chile and educated at INACAP Culinary Institute, trained at the top restaurants in Santiago before relocating to Vail where she worked at such notable spots as Wild Flower and Cucina Rustica.  

William, originally from a small town near La Crosse, WI earned the Diplome de Cusine from Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa, Canada.  His restaurant experience includes stints in Ottawa, Cape Cod, Minneapolis, Vail, and most recently around Door County.

Door County is a perfect location for a restaurant where constant attempts are made to offer a new and refreshing experience.  With the varied experiences of past jobs and travels, we are lucky to have a canvas and clientele that supports our thinking.
